- An award-winning landscape design in Franklin that was in need of an updated outdoor lighting system to bring the garden back to the forefront of the evening.
- The old lighting system was antiquated halogen and had issues with cabling and connections.
- Fixtures had begun to degrade and needed to be updated to a more dependable, weatherproof style.
- Client desired to return their backyard oasis to the artistic showpiece for which it won awards.
The entire original lighting system was removed and redesigned. All light sources would now be LED. Two 1000 watt transformers were replaced with one 600 watt transformer. Attention was paid to the beautiful garden shed in the back yard as well as the perennial garden that runs along the property border. Existing deck lights were retrofit with LED lamps. Elegant copper and brass path lights marked the stepper path that brings guests around from the driveway to the back deck.
Six different styles of LED products, two different color temperatures, multiple wattages and beam angles were used to bring this design to life. Dimmable LED string lighting was used to permanently illuminate the metal garden structure over the small flagstone patio.
