The Landscape Lighting Sales and Designer is a critical role. You’re directly customer-facing and responsible for promoting the Night Owl standard from incoming leads through continuous contact after projects are completed. You’ll be the point person for multiple clients for their entire lifetime journey, including being their point person if they have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding their system, warranty, or any follow-up.

You’ll be responsible for working in concert with the entirety of the team, including the Owner, Office Manager, and Technicians to ensure the customer experience is above and beyond.

Position Details:

• Full-time, year-round
• Night and weekend time as needed if you make appointments with clients and/or nighttime focus sessions

Job Description:

• Lead generation through networking or handling marketing-generated leads
• Quotes and estimates for residential projects
• Bids for commercial projects
• Close deals, sales, or projects
• Creative landscape lighting design, project setup
• Working with installers or technicians to assist them in completing projects
• Follow up and relationship building
• Willingness to teach, help, or train technicians and installers
• Willingness to assist in company marketing activities
• Potential developments include holiday lighting and tradeshows

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of proper installation of low voltage landscape lighting and outdoor audio systems
• Be able to read and implement blueprints, grade soil, and possess basic landscape construction knowledge
• Good time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail in verbal and written communication
• Positive, outgoing attitude with an internal drive to succeed
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (office, consultations, customer visits, nighttime focus sessions)
• Possess your own reliable vehicle for transportation

Compensation:

Salary, or Salary + Commission depending on experience
